About Dingo Tours – Best Small Group Tours in Sydney
Since 2010 Dingo Tours has been taking domestic and overseas visitors on very small group tours (max. 8 guests) and customised private tours in Sydney and the surrounding area, including the Blue Mountains, the Hunter Valley, the Southern Highlands, Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park,. the Northern Beaches and Port Stephens. Our private and public tours are especially aimed at nature lovers as well as historically and culturally interested tourists in Australia.
Dingo Tours’ two very popular day-tours depart daily and can be booked up to 24 hours before departure:
- Half-day Guided Tour of Sydney – departs 8 AM and 2 PM (allowing for a Sydney Harbour Lunch Cruise)
- Inside the Blue Mountains – departs at 7.30 AM
Our public tours are for very small groups, which have a maximum of 8 guests. We use comfortable vehicles with 11 or 12 seats (like a Mercedes Sprinter or a Renault Master). This means that their is plenty space available for everyone,.
Dingo Tours has developed (and tested!) a wide range of day-tours and multi-day trips that can be booked as a private tour. These private tours can be arranged every day of the year, including Christmas, and for any number of guests.
Our private tour itineraries can of course be customised to match individual interests, wishes and preferences as well as the time requirements of clients. RATES AND SERVICES
All prices quoted on dingotours.com.au are in Australian dollars. There are no surcharges for exchange fees, online booking and cashless payment. The prices of the tours, excursions and guided tours are listed on the respective page and include all taxes and charges. Likewise, all services indicated are included in the price quoted. No additional fees are charged on site.
Dingo Tours’ private tours generally have an inclusive price for two people. Additional participants pay a lower amount, but this includes the same service and benefits. All services listed are included in these prices. Customers can bring in their own wishes regarding tour focus and itinerary, and Dingo Tours will always make extraordinary efforts to meet these.
In detail, therefore, every tour and every excursion is slightly different.
If the services, route, number of participants or time schedule change, this may also have an effect on the price.
Most of the tours described on this website can be booked online. For this purpose, Dingo Tours uses the services of the booking service Rezgo.com. Rezgo.com charges us a 5% commission, which Dingo Tours does NOT pass on to its clients. Rezgo is an exclusively English-speaking booking service. We look forward to seeing Rezgo’s introduce multi-lingual services.
Full payment at least 24 hours prior to departure is required to confirm a booking – unless otherwise stated on the trip profile page. Payment options include direct deposit or credit card.
Bookings for our multi-day trips must be made at least 2 weeks prior to departure to secure your place. A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking unless otherwise stated on the trip profile page. The balance (50%) can be paid on departure – unless otherwise stated on the trip profile page.
A booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been received. Payment options include direct deposit or credit card.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND
Customers may cancel a booing at any time, without giving any reason. Refunds will be provided according the following refund policy:
- Cancellation 48 hours or more before departure: full refund.
- Cancellation more than 24 hours but less than 48 hours before departure: 50% refund.
- Cancellation more than 12 hours but less than 24 hours before departure: 25% refund.
- Cancellation less than 12 hours before departure: no refund.
- If cancelled 2 weeks or more before departure: full 50% refund of deposit.
- If cancelled more than 1 week but less than 2 weeks prior to departure: 75% of deposit cancellation fee (25% refund of 50% deposit).
- If cancelled less than 1 week before departure: 100% of deposit as cancellation fee (no refund).
There are no refunds for tours cancelled due to incorrect details of physical abilities and/or existing or previous health conditions. If a client fails or refuses to answer the questions asked in the participant form, Dingo Tours reserves the right to refuse service without refund. Questions that must be answered accurately include those regarding physical health, experience with a bicycle or kayak and previous accidents.
There is also no refund if you are responsible for abandoning your tour after it has started. However, you are entitled to a full refund if the tour you have booked differs significantly from the description on our website.
Dingo Tours is not liable for any damage, cost or inconvenience caused by public transport delays, timetable changes, strikes, vehicle breakdowns, force majeure or other circumstances. Dingo Tours acts solely as an agent for securing accommodation and transport where applicable and cannot be held liable for any person or company failing to provides transport, accommodation or other service.
Separate tickets or third party services ordered for clients are excluded from reimbursement and cannot be cancelled by Dingo Tours.
In the unlikely event that a tour is cancelled by Dingo Tours, customers will be entitled to a full refund of the amount paid. It is agreed not to assert any claims beyond this.
About Jelle Marechal
Jelle Marechal is the owner and supervising guide of Dingo Tours. He is born in Belgium, and is an Australian citizen. Jelle studied politics and worked for many years as a journalist, tour guide and conference organiser before emigrating to Australia in the mid-1990s.
In 2004, he founded Australia’s first social activity network (facetime.com.au). Since then, Jelle has developed, led or participated in more than 2500 group activities – from contemporary art gallery visits and pub crawls in Sydney and Melbourne, to kayaking and bushwalking weekends in many national parks and cycling tours of the rural areas around all Australian capital cities.
Over the years, Jelle has acquired an extensive knowledge of Sydney and all of Australia, with its natural and cultural treasures – knowledge that enables him to provide unique and memorable experiences of learning, discovery and enjoyment for participants on our tours.
Jelle personally trains and supervises all Dingo Tours’ driver-guides to ensure personally, knowledge and commentary delivery meet Dingo Tours’ highest expectations.
