Amazing private tours in and around Sydney

A family of five (2 teens & a 6 year old) we initially booked Dingo Tours for an introduction to Sydney and a 2-day trip to the Blue Mountains. Quickly we realised that Jelle’s expertise and pragmatism was what we needed to make the best of our 2 weeks vacation so we added another 2-day trip to Jervis Bay and then also a day trip to Sydney’s Northern beaches. Thanks to Jelle our holiday was a complete success for everyone – from hiking to picnics, best swims, urban bike tours and most scenic spots away from the crowds. Everyone enjoyed Jelle’s profound knowledge and enthusiasm for his country of choice, his passion for wild and bird life combined with the entertaining anecdotes drawing on his almost 20 years in Sydney. Our excursions were tailor-made and Jelle fully catered to our ideas and wishes. Wherever we went he secured the best deals for us (accommodation, boat trips etc). We highly recommend Dingo Tours.

In depth discovery of Blue Mountains

We enjoyed this tour a lot. Well organised, well-balanced and carried out with professionalism and great commitment. Avoided the big crowded places and went for the more secretive lookouts. To be recommended.

We booked the small-group insider tour of the Blue Mountains for our family of four months in advance of our arrival in Sydney. The day before we confirmed with the owner Jelle and he offered to pick us up at our hotel in Coogee to make things convenient and easy for us—he also dropped us off there at the end of the tour. From the start, Jelle’s energy and excitement for the tour was better at bringing me out of my usual morning fog better than any cup of coffee I’ve ever had. He was full of information about Sydney, what we were driving by, etc., as well as full of questions about how we wanted to spend OUR day together. This customization on-the-fly was a differentiating factor from other small group tours I’ve been on in the past. Jelle wanted to make sure we got the tour experience that most suited our interests, physical abilities, etc. We saw all of the significant sites at the different stops, and Jelle peppered us with facts, stories, and local lore about them as well as the surrounding plants and wildlife. There is a fair amount of driving on this tour, which can be a drag if your driver isn’t constantly making you laugh or keeping you on the edge of your seat with the legend of the Three Sisters. This tour was fantastic. I highly recommend!
